Ministry Spotlight If you know of or come upon a ministry that is loving people in a way that inspires you, or is worth talking about for whatever reason, then use this board to let the rest of us know. Let us know what we can do to help: should we pray for them, donate money, are any of us located close enough to devote time? If it's your ministry, don't be shy, use this to shamelessly plug what you need to love people more effectively. |

Angles Over time, as we follow Jesus, or consider doing so, we'll see Him from different angles, in different light, during different seasons, from different perspectives, and this will help us to know Him better. Hopefully, if we share our understanding of Jesus, our recent insights or revelations of Him, or encounters with Him, we might all benefit from a better understanding of Him and might learn to follow him just a little more closely. |

What?!? Scripture is God's Living Word, written centuries ago in an entirely different historical/social/cultural context. That in mind, we all know it can be confusing at times and hard to understand; other times it seems easier to understand but hard to wrap our minds around. Perhaps we can help each other toward better understanding. |

Ebbs and Flows As we interact with Scripture, we all go through ebbs and flows: there are times full of life and vigor that never seem to last long enough, there are dry and empty times that seem like they're never going to end. Then there are those times when, for whatever reason, we live in that place where we can't bring ourselves to interact with Scripture at all (and sometimes that is our permanent address). Perhaps sharing where we are on either end of this spectrum can be a means of grace to us, and to those we're sharing with. |
